Lyme disease is an infectious disease caused by the bacteria Borrelia burgdorferi, transmitted to humans through the bite of infected blacklegged ticks. Symptoms

  • Expanding red rash (erythema migrans)
  • Flu-like symptoms (fever, chills, fatigue, body aches, headache)

Causes
