Autoimmune/Rheumatic

Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease (UCTD)

Undifferentiated connective tissue disease (UCTD) is an autoimmune condition that has features suggestive of a systemic rheumatic disease, but does not fulfill the criteria for a specific defined connective tissue disease such as lupus, scleroderma, or Sjögren's syndrome. Many patients with UCTD remain in this undifferentiated state, while some eventually evolve into a defined disease.
